Job Overview

Doctor Management Service is seeking a diligent and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a full-time position within a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. You will play a vital role in helping us deliver exceptional medical billing and coding services to physicians and healthcare facilities across the USA. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to contribute to a well-established company with over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and company events.
  • Maintain and organise physical and digital filing systems, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other important documents.
  • Provide general administrative support to our medical billing and coding teams to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Handle sensitive client and patient information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and manage office supply levels, placing orders as required.
  • Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

Qualifications

 

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or in another relevant office support role.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
  • The ability to work independently and as a valued member of a team.
  • Experience within the healthcare or medical billing industry is desirable but not essential.
