Administrative Assistant – Billing Support

Location: Centennial, CO
Position Type: Part-Time 10-20 hours/week
Schedule: Hybrid, flexible schedule
Compensation: $23-$27/hour

Tucker Holmes, P.C. is a well-established insurance defense law firm committed to delivering high-quality legal services to our clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our billing operations.

Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant will work closely with our office administrator to ensure timely and accurate billing. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and prior administrative or billing experience especially in a legal environment.

This position requires the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, communicate efficiently and demonstrate professionalism on a daily basis. The successful candidate will deliver excellent work and superior service to the firm and the firm’s clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation and distribution of client invoices
  • Review time entries and make edits for accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate with attorneys and staff to clarify billing entries
  • Process receipts for expenses incurred
  • Help manage billing platform systems and legal software (ProLaw)
  • Follow up on outstanding billing issues or client questions
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:

  • Prior administrative or billing experience (law firm or professional services preferred)
  • Familiarity with legal billing software is a plus

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of office experience
