About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Calendar Clerk with workers’ compensation legal experience to join our Pasadena office. The ideal candidate will manage the office calendar, file legal documents, and provide administrative support to case managers and attorneys. This role requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with the EAMS case management system, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and coordinate the office calendar; schedule hearings, appointments, and follow-ups.
- File DORs and other legal documents through EAMS, JET File, or e-forms.
- Support case managers with scheduling medical appointments and subpoenaing records.
- Prepare legal correspondence and assist with document drafting.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and vendors as needed.
- Provide general office and clerical support.
Qualifications
- Required: Workers’ compensation legal experience (Applicants’/Claimants’ side).
- Proficiency in EAMS filing, calendaring, and legal document preparation.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
