Administrative Assistant / Clinical Support Specialist

While a degree is not required, this role is ideal for a recent college graduate (particularly in psychology or related fields) taking a gap year before graduate school or someone still exploring their path and wanting meaningful, real-world experience in behavioral health. Strong performers may be considered for letters of recommendation for graduate or professional school applications.

At MPS, you will receive on-the-job training, mentorship, and meaningful exposure to behavioral healthcare systems and clinical practice.

This is not simply a front desk job; You will become part of a collaborative clinical environment and gain firsthand exposure to:

  • Outpatient behavioral healthcare and private practice operations
  • Psychological assessment and psychometric support
  • Referral coordination and intake processes
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration among providers and agencies
  • A broad range of presenting concerns, diagnoses, and treatment approaches
  • Day-to-day operations of an established behavioral health practice
  • Insurance billing, compliance, and private practice management
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Managing referrals and scheduling
  • Answering phones and responding to routine emails professionally and compassionately
  • Processing payments and supporting front office operations
  • Assisting with psychological assessment administration and support activities
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting data entry in our practice management system (training provided)
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion (HIPAA training provided)
  • Helping create a welcoming and professional client experience

  • Approximately 16 hours/week
  • Pay: depending on experience and qualifications
  • Paid Time Off after 90 days

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
