Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Customer Service Representative willing to obtain an insurance license or a licensed insurance agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional support and ensuring smooth office operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with office management tools, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Prior experience in office administration, clerical tasks, or receptionist duties is preferred but not required. The position offers an engaging work environment where professionalism and efficiency are prioritized.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients, visitors, and callers in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Documentation for daily tasks
- Assist with calendar management, appointment scheduling, and event coordination
- Support office management activities including administrative support
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and effectively
- Maintain organized workspaces
- Support front desk operations with professionalism and courtesy
Skills
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Prior office management or administrative experience is highly desirable
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in proofreading and data entry tasks
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Clerical experience including filing, typing, and calendar management
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members
