OBITCO is hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative to join our team.

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented person who can help support our day-to-day operations while providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, learning new services, staying organized, and helping keep a busy facility running smoothly.

Position Details

Position: Administrative Assistant & Customer Service Representative
Schedule: Monday through Friday availability required, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Hours: Part-time, approximately 16–24 hours per week
Future Opportunity: This position may eventually grow into a more full-time role

Key Responsibilities

This position will include training and hands-on work in a variety of OBITCO services, including:

  • Packing and shipping services
  • Package handling and customer package intake
  • Custom printing services
  • Basic design work for print projects
  • Fingerprinting customers
  • Completing and assisting with document notarization
  • Document shredding services
  • Assisting customers with basic phone and tablet support
  • Helping with minor computer support tasks
  • Answering customer questions and assisting with daily service needs
  • Maintaining overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
  • Supporting other administrative and customer service duties as needed

Requirements

The person hired for this position must be able to successfully complete a background check, including fingerprinting, due to the nature of the services provided at OBITCO.

The right candidate must also be willing and able to complete any necessary training for services such as fingerprinting, notarization, shipping, printing, customer support, and other daily operations. Please note, due to security requirements, all applicants must be 18 years or older.

The right person for this role must be dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a customer-facing environment. Each day can bring different situations, so we need someone who can stay calm, communicate clearly, and help solve problems as they come up.

  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information professionally

Experience

Previous customer service, administrative, shipping, printing, notary, fingerprinting, or basic technology support experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
