As an Administrative Assistant - Food Service, you will carry out our Mission of Love by overseeing general office tasks and administrative duties, such as directing communications between colleagues and customers, organizing schedules and events, entering data, bookkeeping, and maintaining office equipment.
Our Administrative Assistant - Food Service is responsible for the following:
- Maintains department files in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Provides administrative support services to the RL DiningCulinary team and Sr.

Administrative Assistant.
- Prepares and distributes correspondence, compiles reports, completes other documentation
-
as needed and directed.
- Responsible to prepare/draft and submit the "What You Need to Know" article on a weekly basis.
- Receives and processes all employee documentation (i.e. coaching/counseling reports/commendations) as received for review by the Director or Assistant Director.

Answers telephone calls, relays messages in a professional and efficient manner.

Issues, prepares, and processes material requests, purchase orders and invoices.

Issues catering bills, reconciles payments and prepares deposits for finance.
- Prepares and distributes the administrative staff schedule on a bi-weekly basis.

Schedules and attends meetings as directed. Also prepares notes as needed and directed for meetings.
- Oversees and assists with Full Count concerns/questions from residents and staff.
- Enters changes of resident meal plans in Full Count as well as reviewing resident charges
What You Have as am Administrative Assistant - Food Service:

High School graduate preferred or equivalent.

Three years of related office experience preferred.

Current knowledge of office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel or related software.

Current knowledge of the operation of general office equipment.

Effective written, oral communication skills and organizational skills required.
