The Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency (KRESA) is a critical part of Michigan’s education system serving the Greater Kalamazoo region and provides specialized services to schools and communities and optimizes resources by centralizing innovative programs and services. Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of the Early/Middle College (EMC) and Compliance Coordinator, the Administrative Assistant will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the EMC program and provide administrative services to support compliance needs. This role will primarily support the Coordinator and EMC team. The administrative assistant will assist in the coordination and management of the EMC program and support compliance with a primary focus on preparing and organizing documentation, answering inquiries, and providing information to teachers, students, families, sending school staff and other stakeholders.
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for Early/Middle College Compliance at the KRESA Career Connect Campus in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The essential responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the Kalamazoo RESA handbook.
This is a 11 month calendar position in job grade 12 with an annual rate of pay between $30,256 and $43,166.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Recent and relevant work experience in a school setting; preferably at the secondary level.

Experience in administrative support, office management, or education settings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Knowledge of bookkeeping.
Ability to organize, set priorities, meet deadlines, make sound decisions, attention to detail, and follow through on a variety of assigned tasks.
Demonstrates excellence in clerical skills, including accurate filing, proofreading, grammar, spelling, punctuation, arranging letter format, etc.
Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written communication.
Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with district staff to enhance the completion of assigned tasks.
Flexible in learning new concepts, cooperates with others, and adapts to a variety of assignments and conditions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
