Administrative Assistant / Grant Writer / Compliance Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Grant Writer / Compliance Officer to join our organization. Responsibilities

  • Communicating and coordinating with clients, donors, and our team acting as a central nervous system of the company.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, data entry records, and ensure accurate document management using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
  • Assist in preparing grant proposals by researching funding opportunities, drafting narratives, and compiling supporting documentation with attention to detail.
  • Oversee compliance procedures by reviewing policies, tracking deadlines, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and standards.
  • Support bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking using QuickBooks, and basic bookkeeping duties.
  • Coordinate calendar management for team members, schedule meetings, and handle travel arrangements as needed.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity while maintaining professional communication standards across all correspondence.
  • Attend various fundraising events

Qualifications

  • Proven office management experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated clerical experience including filing, data entry, proofreading, and document preparation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and computer literacy in general.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred.
  • Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse populations.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in grant writing or compliance roles is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
