Administrative Assistant – Military & Family Readiness Center Support

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a Military & Family Readiness Center program at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, scheduling coordination, customer service, data entry, and records management services in support of military personnel transitioning from active duty service.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, strong customer service abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced administrative environment.

Duties

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Outlook
  • Provide front desk reception and customer service support
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to inquiries professionally
  • Maintain electronic records and data entry systems
  • Track attendance and maintain accurate program documentation
  • Coordinate workshop schedules and participant registrations
  • Monitor organizational email inboxes and ensure timely responses
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and administrative correspondence
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Assist with classroom preparation and administrative support activities
  • Support military personnel, retirees, and family members with program-related services
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum six (6) months of administrative assistant, scheduling, customer service, or data entry experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to successfully pass required background screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting military, federal, or government organizations
  • Knowledge of military terminology and protocol
  • Experience managing calendars, scheduling, and records management systems
  • Experience supporting training programs, workshops, or educational events

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation

Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
