Administrative Assistant – North Slope, AK

POSITION SUMMARY: Administrative Assistant – North Slope, Alaska will be responsible for assisting the day to day operations associated with the Project. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Management team to assist in travel planning, shipping/receiving, scheduling and various other tasks as needed. Proficient Computer skills with all Microsoft programs and the ability to manage multiple databases is a necessity for this Job. The work schedule will be a rotational hitch of 21 days on followed by 21 days off, Daily work shifts will be 12 hours.

Employees are not required to move. All employees are required to travel to Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, AK at their own expense, then the company will provide flights from Anchorage to the North Slope for their 3 week work rotation.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

  • Responsible for assisting day to day operations of the project.
  • Travel planning and scheduling for remote projects
  • Coordinate all logistics for the project including shipping, procurement, travel, etc.
  • Manage and track multiple databases.
  • Collect weekly timesheets from all employees and review for accuracy.
  • Provide daily reports to Mistras Management on status of specific components of projects.
  • Work closely with Management on various projects and tasks.
  • Must exhibit strong professionalism within the working environment.
  • PCMS Database experience is preferred but not required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient with computers, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and trainable in “database” programs Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • High School Diploma minimum, college is preferred.
  • Must be able to Multi-Task
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent communication, organizational and Multi-Tasking skills.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
