DCC Automation/Dairy Conveyor Corp is an industry leader in the manufacturing and systems integration of material handling equipment for the food and beverage industry. We are headquartered in NY, with additional production facilities in CA, MN, and NV and have sales offices throughout the country.
We are seeking an administrative professional to provide support as required to meet the needs of our Service Department. We are looking for a head strong, creative mind with the ability to learn new processes and suggest improvements when warranted. We need someone with exceptional time management skills and a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work, as we are looking to grow this position to be a key part of our sales department.
Our company consists of over 130 people, with nearly half averaging more than 15 years of working for us. We’re looking for someone who has the drive and wants to put in the hard work to become part of our work “family.”
Core Responsibilities:
- Book all travel including flights, car rentals, and hotels for our field service technicians
- Rent equipment (scissor lifts, forklifts) for job sites as needed
- Communicate with customers to provide accurate arrival times, status updates, etc
- Track hours spent and expenses charged by reconciling weekly time sheets and credit card activity
- Maintain and update work orders and job sheets with accurate details including labor hours, parts used and service notes and monitor project profitability and timelines based upon the scope and budget of the project
- Track and maintain Service Contractor's General Liability and Worker's Compensation Certificates.
- Assist with setting up and tracking domestic and international LTL and PTL freight shipments, including processing all necessary border and Customs paperwork.
For the right candidate, the position will grow to include:
- Increased Technical Knowledge: Develop an understanding of our mechanical systems, including learning to read site plans, drawings and technical documentation.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as response times, repair efficiency, and service report accuracy.
- Operational Planning: Coordinate service projects from initial site visits through installation, maintenance, and final commissioning. Weekly and Bi-Monthly meetings to Collaborate with sales, engineering, and management on Production and service schedules based on service agreements, warranties, and special customer requests
- Inventory & Logistics: Work with Aftermarket sales/warehouse to ensure availability of necessary components for upcoming service calls for required equipment and parts.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- No experience necessary as we are willing to train the right person
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction and team coordination
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Self-motivator, willing to take the initiative.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to work with a wide range of individuals with distinct personalities
- Additional language skills would be an asset
Work Schedule: Full-time M-F 8:30am – 5:00pm, with evening and weekend flexibility

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
