Administrative Assistant/Dispatcher- Full-Time

neoRhino is looking for an energetic, charismatic, and motivated IT ADMIN ASSISTANT/Dispatch to join our growing IT solutions firm based in Houston, TX . Candidate will provide support by managing day to day administrative requests for the Technical Operations team. The Assistant will report to the Administrative Coordinator and Tech Ops Lead and provide administrative office support and dispatch duties for the Technical Team. This position requires a dependable, versatile, professional, and customer friendly person capable of multi-tasking and has great attention to detail. The candidate needs to have initiative and the ability to prioritize tasks with time sensitive deadlines, work well in a fast paced environment and possess strong organization, communication, and coordination skills. GOOD NOTE TAKING and PRIORITIZATION is a must. MUST be a team player. A majority of the position will be scheduling/dispatch with general administrative support. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Excel & PowerPoint.

Current hours will be part time 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, with potential to expand to full -time.

DUTIES:

  • Prioritizing and dispatching tickets
  • Calendar setting and scheduling
  • Note taking during meetings and creating a comprehensive summary of the meeting information
  • Coordinating onsite
  • Documenting both internal and Client meetings
  • Research technical projects
  • Update department & management calendars (meeting rooms, team calendars)
  • Schedule department meetings & coordinate department events: Setup rooms, order lunch & refreshments as requested by IT Management Team
  • Administer documentation (filing, scanning, saving electronic versions)
  • Perform the primary thinking encompassed by this job description.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees & contractors
  • Any additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned.

OPTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative position
  • Interest in technology
  • Familiarity with Teams
  • Spanish speaking
  • Familiarity with Canva or similar platform
  • Strong Google-fu

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $18.50 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
