Front Desk & Marketing Assistant (Full-Time | In-Person)
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
We’re seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Front Desk & Entry Level Marketing Assistant to join our team and be the face of our office. This hybrid role combines traditional administrative responsibilities with light marketing support, offering an opportunity to grow in both areas while working alongside engineers, project managers, and permitting specialists.
You’ll handle front desk duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, and organizing appointments, while also assisting with internal coordination, document preparation, and supporting our marketing efforts—including social media, email campaigns, and basic content creation.
This is a great position for someone who thrives in a professional, technical environment and wants to develop administrative and marketing experience in a collaborative setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Administrative Support
· Serve as the first point of contact: greet visitors, answer and direct phone calls
· Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
· Take meeting notes and distribute action items
· Maintain digital and physical filing systems
· Write and format professional communications (emails, letters, memos)
· Order office supplies and track inventory
· Assist project managers, engineers, and permitting specialists with administrative support
· Help manage internal workflows and ensure smooth daily operations
Marketing & Communications Support
· Assist with content creation for email campaigns, newsletters, and social media
· Help update and maintain the company website and marketing materials
· Coordinate print and digital marketing assets for proposals and client outreach
· Maintain contact databases and email distribution lists
· Support event planning for industry conferences, client meetings, and community engagement
· Gather content (photos, updates, testimonials) from the team for use in marketing
· Track engagement metrics and help evaluate marketing performance
· Work with leadership to execute brand-consistent communication
· Stay up to date on marketing trends relevant to engineering, water, and construction sectors
Ideal Candidate
· Friendly, proactive, and organized with a professional demeanor
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Comfortable working in a technical environment with engineers and permitting specialists
· Previous experience in an admin, front desk, or marketing assistant role is preferred (but not required if eager to learn)
· Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
· High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or marketing training a plus
