Administrative Assistant/Property Management

Tyson Property Management is seeking a reliable and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in the role of Property Management Coordinator. The coordinator will perform a range of duties under the direct supervision of our licensed Department Managers in the managing of single-family homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic receptionist duties
  • Answer phones and emails
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Perform data entry and filing
  • Prepare and mail notices
  • Discuss available properties and application qualifications with prospective customers
  • Processing tenant applications
  • Advertising and marketing
  • Assemble lease documents
  • Assist existing clients and customers with account questions
  • Schedule and conduct property inspections
  • Assist tenants with maintenance requests
  • Prepare reports for management
  • Dispute resolution

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Office administration experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong research and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Multitasking and time management skills
  • Ability to drive to multiple property locations to perform inspections of vacant and occupied properties
  • Basic understanding of home maintenance preferred

Computer Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with CRM and accounting software

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (one-hour lunch break)
  • Weekly hours typically range from 35 to 40 per week
  • Occasional on-call weekend work for maintenance emergencies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
