Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Harman CPAs & Associates is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Administrative Staff member to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment, enjoys providing exceptional client service, and can effectively manage multiple administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Greet clients and visitors while providing a welcoming office experience
  • Manage scheduling, appointments, and calendar coordination
  • Assist with client communications through phone, email, and portal messaging
  • Organize and maintain client files and office records
  • Support tax preparation workflow by gathering documents and ensuring files are complete
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail and handle general office correspondence
  • Assist team members with various administrative projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative, receptionist, or office support experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technology
  • Experience in a tax office, accounting firm, or professional services environment is a plus

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while also supporting a collaborative team environment. Additional work hours during tax season are required and paid at OT rate.
