General Description:
An Administrative Clerk provides office support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of an organization. They handle clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling, answering phones, and maintaining records while assisting staff and management with daily administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer emails, and other correspondence.
- Maintain and organize office files, records, and documents to include scanning and filing.
- Perform data entry and update databases accurately.
- Assist with office inventory and ordering supplies.
- Greet visitors and provide customer service support as needed.
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality of company information and records.
- Assist Administration with district operations, including administrative support, internal procedures, special projects, and additional responsibilities as needed to support staff and customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus.
- Basic payroll experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in clerical or administrative work preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and procedures.
Working Conditions
Working Hours/Days:
- Monday – Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Subject to change).
- Evening and weekend hours might be required. Extended hours may be required in the event of a public health emergency.
