Description

The Administrative Client Service Associate works under general supervision, using specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience and/or formal training to provide proactive support to health and employee benefits insurance clients and the insurance team. Established procedures and prescribed guidelines are provided to perform a variety of tasks as well as assistance in constant process improvement for procedures and documentation as technology continues to evolve. Helps the increased generation of commission revenue by maintaining and enhancing client relationships while assisting the insurance team with efficient, quality client service and administrative support. There is extensive contact with internal and external customers to identify, research, and resolve problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with clients, insurance carriers and the insurance team to ensure optimal client account maintenance and support.
  • Manage the production and processing of all client account documentation.
  • Maintain production reports for accounting purposes as well as performance tracking.
  • Answer all calls, including screening calls, assisting with client requests and relaying messages when appropriate.
  • Assist with firm audits and with maintenance of compliance files.

Competencies Required:
  • Independent, self-motivated with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of contact management operating systems (Employee Navigator, AgencyBloc or similar)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint or SharePoint).

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and leverage internal resources.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
  • 1 year of insurance agency experience required or 1 year of Woodforest National Bank experience for internal candidates
  • Exposure to health and/or employee benefits insurance products preferred

Formal Education & Certification:
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Texas health & life insurance license preferred or will be required within six months of employment.

Work Status:
  • Full-Time.

Supervisory Responsibility:
  • None.

Travel:
  • 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.

Working Conditions:
  • Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
