Administrative - CPA Firm

Help us with the administration of this established CPA firm. Previous administrative experience preferred, CPA firm experience a plus. Must be able to work overtime January 15th through April 18th. Saturdays are work days from about February 15th through April 18th. Benefits include SIMPLE retirement plan, health insurance with HSA, long term disability, paid vacation, holidays and sick time.

  • Candidate must work well in a fast paced environment and possess the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Maintaining client files, both hard copy and digital
  • Answer and operate phone system
  • Greeting clients and visitors
  • Emailing
  • Updating client database
  • Tracking tasks for the accounting team
  • Ordering supplies
  • Scheduling appointments,
  • Billing clients and collecting fees
  • Arranging building maintenance
  • Scheduling yearly training for staff
  • Training seasonal staff
  • Maintaining office equipment.
  • Contact clients to bring in their work.
  • Contact clients upon completion of work.
  • Collect and process client payments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel helpful.
  • Proficiency with social media LinkedIn and Facebook a plus.
  • May involve mailing marketing materials.
  • Office Management experience a plus.
  • Must exhibit a positive, mature attitude and maintain a neat, clean appearance.
  • Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds - client storage boxes, copy paper, etc.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
