Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid role for an Administrative & Finance Coordinator located in Hunt Valley, MD.
This role is critical to keeping our business running smoothly behind the scenes. You will support administrative operations, manage financial processes, and assist with basic HR functions.
This position is approximately 20–25 hours per week, with a consistent weekly schedule and some overlap during standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping tasks (invoicing, payments, expense tracking, reconciliations)
- Support payroll and HR administrative tasks (employee records, onboarding coordination)
- Organize and maintain internal documentation and processes
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal communication
- Track recurring tasks and deadlines to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Assist leadership with day-to-day operational support
Schedule Expectations
- Approximately 20–25 hours per week
- Preferred schedule: Monday–Thursday, ~5–6 hours per day (or similar structured schedule)
- Some flexibility, but must maintain consistent weekly availability
- Must have 1–2 hours of overlap during standard business hours daily
Compensation
- $25–$35 per hour, based on experience
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years experience in administrative, bookkeeping, or operations support roles
- Experience with bookkeeping tools (QuickBooks or similar preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and accountability
- Comfortable handling sensitive financial and employee information
- Strong communication skills (internal and external)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
- Experience in a fast-paced or small business environment is a plus
