Provides professional level staff assistance in the areas of research, analysis, reporting, and project coordination for the City Manager's Office. Provides support initiative that enhance service delivery, community engagement and policy development. This role will offer meaningful exposure to municipal government management and operations. The Administrative Intern will be supervised by an experienced professional staff member; the degree of supervision varies with the complexity of work assignments and the experience of the Intern.

Research best practices, draft policy memos, compile data for special projects, and assist with benchmarking studies.

Prepares supporting documents and reviews agenda packets to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Undergraduate Intern - $15.94 per hour
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a minimum of 60 completed college credit hours toward a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, Public Affairs, Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business Administration, Urban Studies, Criminal Justice, Marketing, Legal Studies, or a closely related field. An unofficial transcription must be attached to the application.
Graduate Intern - $17.50 per hour
Must be currently enrolled in a Master's degree program from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, Public Affairs, Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business Administration, Urban Studies, Criminal Justice, Marketing, Legal Studies, or a closely related field.
