New Age Market is a busy Asian supermarket located in the heart of Flushing, NY, serving the local community with a wide selection of groceries, fresh produce, seafood, and specialty items. We are looking for a reliable, creative, detail-oriented individual to assist with marketing and data analysis.

Job Title:

Administrative & Marketing Assistant (Bilingual Chinese/English)

What you’ll do

• Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
• Handle multi-line phone systems, ensuring effective communication and phone etiquette.
• Assist in marketing efforts by coordinating campaigns and managing social media platforms. Create and design in-store display signs.
• Maintain organized filing systems and perform data entry tasks with precision in QuickBooks, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Update store prices and inventory daily
• Provide outstanding customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist the Store Manager in daily store operations

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace with strong computer literacy skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin) required
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
