DiverseAbilities Center, a specialized school and therapy center supporting individuals with autism and related developmental needs, is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Administrative Assistant to support daily operations and assist leadership with administrative coordination.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, professional, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment while supporting the needs of staff, students, and families.

Duties

Organize and maintain office files, records, and documentation

  • Provide administrative support to the director and leadership team
  • Assist with onboarding and setting up new employees
  • Coordinate staff communication and assist with managing staff tasks under direction of leadership
  • Communicate professionally with prospective clients and families
  • Prepare and type documents, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Word
  • Maintain organized filing systems and administrative records
  • Support scheduling, coordination, and general office operations
  • Assist in maintaining an efficient and organized office environment

Qualification

Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong typing and computer skills (Microsoft Word required)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with families, staff, and clients
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and support leadership effectively

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
