Job Title: Administrative Operations Support
Position Summary
The Administrative Operations Support position provides administrative and clerical support at Head Start centers and serves as a welcoming first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors. This position supports daily office operations, enrollment and attendance processes, and ensures accurate and confidential recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, scanning, copying, and document management.
- Greet and assist families, staff, and visitors.
- Support attendance, enrollment, and recordkeeping processes.
- Assist with monitoring reviews, audits, licensing visits, and internal assessments.
- Support family engagement activities and communication.
- Maintain confidentiality of child and family records in accordance with 45 CFR §1303.
- Assist with emergency preparedness planning.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Strong technology literacy and experience with computer software required. (i.e., Office 365, Outlook, Sharepoint, Excel spreadsheets, Word (including formatting & mail merge) required. PowerPoint experience a plus.
- Associate’s degree in Business, Office Administration, or related field preferred.
- One (1) year experience in an office or school setting preferred.
- Experience in Head Start, early childhood education, or human services
- Bilingual skills preferred
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour
