Codes Assessment Professionals is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Professional to support the daily operations of our growing municipal codes consulting firm. This position will serve as the first point of contact in our Tioga branch and coordinate with the corporate office.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities while providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details

  • Position: Part-Time Administrative Professional
  • Company: Codes Assessment Professionals
  • Branch Location: Rt. 6 Wellsboro, PA
  • Schedule: Approximately 20–25 hours per week (flexible based on business needs)
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($12-15 /hour)

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails professionally and efficiently.
  • Greet and assist clients, residents, contractors, and visitors.
  • Coordinate with our Codes Professionals at the Corporate Branch in Muncy
  • Prepare, review, and distribute correspondence, notices, permits, and reports.
  • Enter and maintain accurate information in office databases and software systems.
  • Process permit applications and maintain permit records.
  • Schedule inspections and coordinate appointments for code officials and inspectors.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Assist with invoice preparation, payment processing, and recordkeeping.
  • Support municipal clients with administrative requests and inquiries.
  • Perform general office duties including copying, scanning, filing, and data entry.
  • Assist management and field staff with special projects and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Promptly answer and return and respond to phone calls, email and multimedia inquiries

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative, office support, customer service, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.
  • Experience with municipal government, permitting, code enforcement, zoning, or construction-related industries is a plus but not required.
