Administrative/ Project Management Assistant

D&C Glass and Aluminum, Inc. is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations at our Pleasanton office. This role is primarily administrative in nature and requires a high level of organization, discretion, and accountability.

While the core function of this position is administrative support, the selected candidate will gain structured exposure to project coordination and commercial construction processes. This creates a defined pathway for growth for individuals who demonstrate initiative, capability, and long-term interest in the industry.

We are seeking someone who takes ownership of their work, operates with professionalism, and is comfortable in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

Position Structure

  • Training Period: Two weeks of three 8-hour days
  • Ongoing Schedule: 4 hours per day, 5 days per week
  • Location: In-office, Pleasanton, CA

Primary Responsibilities (Administrative Focus)

  • Perform precise and timely data entry
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate internal assignments
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Support document control and correspondence tracking
  • Assist with internal communication and office coordination
  • Uphold a professional front-office presence

Secondary Responsibilities (Performance-Based Growth Exposure)

  • Assist with construction-related documentation and tracking
  • Support project managers with administrative components of active projects
  • Help organize submittals, change documentation, and scheduling updates
  • Learn internal systems used in commercial construction operations

Required Core Competencies

  • Ability to manage time independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfort working with structured processes and deadlines

Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam Revu, or construction-related platforms
  • Academic background or interest in business, construction management, operations, or related fields
  • Technologically confident and solution-oriented mindset

Job Type: Part-time
