GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the ENR - Enrollment Services department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.

The Administrative Specialist II at Greenville Technical College's Student Success Center supports the College's Enrollment Operations. This position involves a wide range of administrative tasks and responsibilities that are essential to the efficient and effective functioning of the Student Success Center related to admissions, financial aid, registration, student records, and other enrollment related processes. This position will be responsible for campus events to assist prospective, new and returning students with the Admissions/Enrollment Processes. The position must stay abreast of the college's programs of study and course offering and maintain the highest level of customer service.

Job Functions:

Provide customer service and direction to prospective, newly applied, readmitted and current students from the Welcome Desk by obtaining necessary information to make appropriate referrals. Serves as the first contact with the public and distributes any necessary materials after assessment with prospective students, applicants, current students, and the families/influencers.

Provide administrative support in Enrollment Services by accurately receiving and processing documents and status changes for name, address, social security number, legal presence, and residency; collecting all relevant admissions documentation, provide correspondence as needed through the use of communication plans, assist with office mailings, outreach campaigns, data entry to log receipt of documents for processing. Answer incoming calls for Enrollment Services.

Provide imaging duties as needed for all areas of Enrollment services by accurately positing documentation to individual student accounts. Provide general administrative and clerical support for Enrollment Services to include mailing, emailing, faxing, copying and filing. Provide general administrative assistance with incoming transcripts to include scanning, downloading and linking paper and electronic copies. Provide general processing of all forms with the Enrollment Services department. Assist with degree pickups, Open houses, and Campus Tours.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Operations or AVP for Enrollment Services and Marketing.

A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
