Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Division of Student Affairs fosters students growth and development. The division aids, directs, and informs students about services and programs that will expand students’ educational experiences and prepare them for diverse lives in local and global communities.
The purpose of the Transportation Department is to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation options to students, faculty, and staff of NCCU to help reduce the university carbon footprint.
Primary Purpose of Position
This position is point of contact person when entering the Transportation Department. Answers transportation questions/issues that may derive from students/staff/faculty/administrators and visitors. This position has knowledge of the policies and standard operating procedures of the Transportation Department and is constantly on the phone answering questions/calls on a daily basis. Contacts service recipient’s vendors or clients to provide or obtain information. This position also provides administrative support for additional units within the division as expanded scope of duties. These extra duties are beyond her current competency.

Minimum Education/Experience
High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Prefer at least an Associate’s degree, with a focus in business, accounting, or management.
