Administrative Support Specialist - 2541

Primary Purpose of Organization Unit
Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Facilities, Facilities Management comprises of two departments – Facilities Operations; and Facilities Planning and Construction. The primary mission is delivering required services, financial oversight, and providing a liaison with appropriate Federal, State, and local agencies on matters related to planning, constructing, operating and maintaining the physical campus environment. Facilities Management strives to provide a safe, clean, accessible, and attractive environment which enhances the abilities of academic and administrative departments to provide a personalized education experience.

This critical position serves within Facilities Operations and Maintenance Department in an Administrative role. Position works with campus community on various events by assisting with event related needs.

Job Description
This critical position serves within Facilities Operations and Maintenance Department in an Administrative role. This position is the computerized maintenance management system administrator. Serve as the point of contact with system vendor for annual services contract assuring that the system is properly maintained and required upgrades are installed and functional. O & M Event needs coordinator. Work with campus community on various events assisting with requestor needs, operations involvement, etc. Ensures support is provided for the Facilities Work Control Center. Position is back up for departmental requisitions and p card allocations. This position is responsible for special projects involving Facilities Management. This position is the Web Information Coordinator (WIC) for Facilities Operations and Maintenance.
