Position Summary
The Administrative Support Specialist for University Strategy serves as a trusted strategic and administrative support, providing coordination and leadership to advance key initiatives and programs. Reporting through the division of Enrollment, Marketing & Communications, the Administrative Support Specialist manages daily tasks and complex projects, coordinates cross-campus collaborations and activities, assists in the facilitation of communication with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures that the day-to-day operations of the division are carried out.

Essential Duties
  • Provide excellent front facing customer service to individuals and guests coming to meet with the Senior VP of University Strategy and other members of the Division.
  • Assist with the management of the SVP’s calendar, scheduling priorities, and meeting logistics.
  • Prepare briefing materials, reports, presentations, correspondence, and other executive communications.
  • Administer the budget for the divisions of Enrollment, Marketing & Communications.
  • Screen and prioritize incoming communications and requests for the SVP’s response and attention.
  • Coordinate with campus partners to execute key campus-wide activities including, but not limited to, new student move-in and Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Village.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare recommendations to support executive decision-making.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and outcomes across multiple departments.
  • Serve as a liaison between the SVP’s office and faculty, staff, students, administrators, trustees, community partners, and external organizations as requested.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, committees, retreats, and special events.
  • Develop agendas, prepare meeting materials, record minutes, and monitor follow-up actions.
  • Monitor compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and applicable regulations as assigned.
  • Maintain confidential records and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Represents the University and/or the SVP at on or off-campus events.

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with other divisional and University-wide departments to enhance the student experience, especially related to on-campus recruitment activities.
  • Attend recruitment events to support registration and other administrative tasks.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Previous experience successfully working as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service to students, families, and campus partners.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other office productivity tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.

Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours
  • This position will work evening and weekend hours for events and meetings.
