Administrative/Personal Assistant at Home Office
The part-time job requires assisting the employer in maintaining a current filing system of her property management and development company as well as her personal files, strong organizational and computer skills, careful attention to detail, good interpersonal and writing skills in corresponding with lessees, Fortune 500 auto dealerships and a prominent student housing developer, vendors, contractors, and various Los Angeles city and California state agencies. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, and familiarity with drop box applications. Shammas Properties uses the digital program Box. At least one year of office experience is preferred. Hours range from 12 hours to 20 hours a week, three days a week, no weekends. Must be willing to work later hours if needed.
The position provides an opportunity for applicants who have an interest in the marketing of commercial property for lease, and the necessary steps that lessees must follow to obtain entitlements, i.e., a city’s legal approval to develop or redevelop real estate for a specific use. The employers’ commercial properties are in downtown Los Angeles, https://shammasproperties.squarespace.com. The prospective employee will work at the home office address in Laguna Beach.
. The applicant must have their own car. Miles travelled for errands will be reimbursed. The hours of employment range from 15 to 20 hours a week at $40 an hour.
