The Appraisal & Legal Administrator is a member of the Customer Service Support Center who works with clients and appraisal/legal referrals to coordinate all aspects through the process of an insurance claim.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the Job:
1. Answering calls sent to all claim support involving files which have moved to appraisal or legal status.
2. Confirming and coordinating appointments for court dates.
3. Schedule witnesses when company testimony is necessary.
4. Relaying status to clients throughout the process.
5. Review open files to be sure they are up to date.
6. Contact Insurance company and Insureds for additional documentation to move claim forward.
7. Review Open Requests for claim movement.
8. Escalate items to Director of Adjusters and AOD Manager where need be and advise supervisor of progress toward settlement.
9. Advise supervisor of progress toward claim settlements and requests additional information when warranted.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
