As an Entry Level Health Insurance Agent (LOA), you will be responsible for assisting clients with their insurance needs, providing excellent customer service, and developing your sales skills. This role offers you the opportunity to serve your community by offering personalized health insurance solutions that cater to clients unique needs and budgetary considerations. While simultaneously, building a sustainable income stream for yourself.

Job Description Responsibilities
- Engage with potential clients through various channels, including phone, video, and in-person meetings, to present the right insurance products.
- Assess client needs, research, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions tailored to their requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain policy details, coverage options, and benefits.
- Ability to work with your manager and independently
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations for 10 years.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay informed about market trends and developments in the insurance industry to better serve clients.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service while assisting client needs.
- Confident, persuasive, positive attitude
Requirements
- Must possess all relevant FL 240 or 215 licenses and Medicare and CMS certifications, training, and obtain contracting with the carriers, as required by state regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus, but not required
- Must pass background check
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and manage a flexible schedule.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Must be flexible and teachable.
- Motivated, self-starter with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Great computer skills and be quick to learn all systems and programs.
- Previous experience in insurance sales or sales, or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and advocate for clients’ best interests.
- A proactive positive attitude towards learning about various insurance products and market dynamics.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized in managing client information and documentation.
- You must maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when communicating with prospects, clients, agents, carriers, FMO, etc.

Compensation
- W2 salary is $15.00-$20 hour depending on your background and licenses
- The range is based on the average rep in current markets
- Bonuses are performance-based
Location
- Must reside in the Tampa Bay, FL area
- Hybrid work environment that combines both a work from home opportunity as well as in office training/work located in Riverview, FL
- The Tampa Bay area is one of the top 5 markets nationwide for selling Medicare and Health Insurance plans
Hours
- Our business hours are from 9:00am - 6:00pm EST (but will vary depending on the season)
