Job Title: Admissions Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Admissions Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking behavioral health services. This role is responsible for managing the intake and admissions process, ensuring a compassionate, professional, and efficient experience for prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the behavioral health field, with direct admissions coordination experience preferred.
SHIFTS:
Tuesday-Saturday 11p-7a
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective clients, families, and referral sources.
- Conduct initial screenings, gather clinical and demographic information, and assess appropriate program placement.
- Coordinate with clinical and medical staff to facilitate timely and accurate admissions decisions.
- Communicate program details, insurance coverage, and financial information with clients and families.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless transition from inquiry to admission.
- Provide compassionate and professional support to individuals during the admissions process.
- Assist in meeting admissions targets and maintaining strong referral relationships.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the behavioral health field required.
- Direct experience as an Admissions Coordinator strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and insurance verification processes is a plus.
- High level of professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
