SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Admissions Office of National Park College is seeking a full-time Admissions Representative (Recruiter) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with students, building partnerships, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Our team members play vital roles—this position requires someone who not only excels in their own responsibilities, but is also willing to jump in and support the team wherever needed. This is a full-time, 12-month position that will report to the Director of Admissions.
The salary for this position is $35,568.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit prospective students by traveling to high schools for visits and college fairs, as well as attending community events.
- Make presentations at high schools and community events.
- Take an active role in identifying and cultivating new recruitment opportunities, partnerships, and pipelines.
- Represent the institution in a professional and engaging manner both on and off campus.
- Stay knowledgeable about institutional programs, admission policies, and financial aid opportunities.
- Responsible for maintaining relationships with high school personnel and community representatives.
- Provide campus tours to prospective students, their families, or large groups as needed.
- Communicate with prospective students about important dates and deadlines, missing documents, and information regarding the enrollment process through email, phone calls or text messages, and in-person interactions.
- Collaborate with other campus departments and offices regarding recruitment activities and orientations.
- Serve as event staff for on-campus recruiting activities and orientations, providing information and assistance to prospective students and guests.
- Perform data entry and review admission documents such as high school transcripts, college transcripts, and test scores (ACT, SAT, Accuplacer) when needed.
- Utilize the institution’s CRM or student information system to document interactions and manage recruitment communications.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance when handling student records.
- Assist with recruiting reports and metrics as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support recruitment and enrollment goals.

- Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Slate, or other data management or CRM platforms is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degrees required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in admissions/recruitment procedures, customer service, marketing, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license, as extensive travel is necessary.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends, including overnight stays.
- Prolonged sitting.

- Prolonged screen time.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs.
