Role Description

This is a full-time on-site and/or remote contract role for an Adobe Animator Artist with technical/electrical experience at JetPrep in Carlsbad, CA. The role will involve tasks such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, but the most critical skill is drawing and animating using Adobe Animate, and specifically technical drawing and animation on that platform. Actionscript knowledge is preferred, but not mandatory. Job requires tight collaboration with SME's, technical director and coders. This project entails developing interactive logic-based animations by creating static and motion graphics for interactive electrical and mechanical systems training courseware.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with Adobe Animate (drawing and animation).
• Extensive experience with technical drawing and 2D animation to illustrate how systems work: machines, machine parts, electrical circuits, control panels and switches.
• Basic ActionScript knowledge, as it relates to animation control from the timeline.
• Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator would be a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Keen attention to detail and creativity.
• Effective time management and ability to consistently meet deadlines.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
