As an Adoption Recruiter you will:

· Manage a fulltime caseload of 12-15 youth in the WV foster care system and actively seeking legal permanency for these youth.

· Implement the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Child-Focused Recruitment Model.

-Build meaningful relationships with each youth through monthly visits, regular contact and being the steady, reliable presence in each youth’s life.

- Visit each youth on the caseload monthly, as well as participating as a member of each child’s professional team.

· Engage in a diligent search by using case record reviews to identify individuals who have been significant in this child’s life. Contact each individual in an effort to identify those who may be a possible permanent resource for this child.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required, Masters degree preferred. Social work or human services degrees preferred. Minimum of three years’ experience in child welfare, experience working with adolescents preferred. Extensive professional experience in direct service and/or life experience may be considered in lieu of social work certification requirement

Home-based position with regular statewide travel and periodic reporting to Hurricane, WV office. Any telework arrangements will follow company policy. Some national and overnight travel. Must hold a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
