Adult and Marriage Counselor

Job Summary – Teen, Adult & Marriage Counselor

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and relationally driven counselor to provide therapy services to teens, adults, and couples. In this role, you will support adolescents navigating anxiety, identity development, academic and family stress; adults working through life transitions, trauma, depression, and relationship challenges; and couples seeking to improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen connection. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized and relationally focused treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s developmental stage and goals. This position requires clinical confidence, warmth, and the ability to hold complex emotional dynamics while fostering safety, growth, and resilience. You will play an integral role in delivering high-quality, ethical care within a collaborative and supportive team environment committed to meaningful, lasting change.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs and relationship dynamics
  • Deliver individual and couples sessions utilizing approaches such as Gottman, EFT, DBT, EMDR, and art therapy
  • Document detailed session notes and treatment progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Billing, scheduling, and other related duties are fully supported by admin staff

Experience

  • 2+ years experience in mental health counseling, including working with adults, couples, teen, or families in clinical settings
  • Fully licensed LCMHC, LCSW, or higher
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as Gottman, EFT, EMDR, DBT, etc
  • Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for mental health diagnoses

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
