Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Preparing lesson plans and instructing adults in ESL courses
Monitoring student performance
Advising students on progress
Administering written and oral exams
Taking student attendance
Grading exams
Other duties as directed
Requirements (Candidates must have):
Bachelors degree in Education, Communication, or any related field
1 year of ESL adult teaching experience in a classroom setting (tutoring and volunteer work does not meet this requirement) or
At least 120-hour certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESL/CELTA/TESOL/TEFL/similar certificate); (Master’s degree in TESOL highly preferred)
