Adult Foster Care Staff Member: Part-time

Part-time overnight Adult Foster Care Staff Member: One shift weekly -- with potential for more

Seeking an additional team member to assist with a single shift of overnight coverage with potential for additional hours to help cover staff vacation and leave time. Approximately 11-16 hours per week.

Staff care for 9 mild-mannered, developmentally disabled men living in a family-type home environment in Jonesville. Many of the residents have lived at the home for the majority of their lives.

Shift: every other Saturday - overnight coverage. Shift starts at 1:00 pm Saturday afternoon and concludes at Noon on Sunday. Some sleep time is built into the shift.

Duties:

The new team member would be responsible for interacting with the residents, preparing meals, performing various household tasks, administering medication and assisting with minor resident self-care, as well as facilitating some activities . This position requires overnight coverage (which includes paid sleep time).

Benefits:

$15/hour for the part-time position.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Ability to complete a medical clearance, TB test and drug screen

· Completion and clearance of required criminal background checks including fingerprinting and drug testing.
