The Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic and community-focused Adult Services Coordinator to lead engaging programs and outreach for adult patrons.

This position plays a key role in developing and delivering creative programming, building community partnerships, and supporting the library’s adult collection and services.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and implement diverse monthly programs for adult audiences
• Lead and grow theAdult Summer Reading Program (18+)
• Develop outreach initiatives with local organizations, including schools, businesses, and care facilities
• Create passive programming (displays, social media engagement, etc.)
• Provide reader’s advisory and assist with collection development
• Collaborate with Youth Services and Bookmobile staff

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: Library experience or coursework in Library/Information Science
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to pass a background check
