Position Overview

TMH Behavioral Services is seeking a motivated and dedicated pre-licensed Adult Therapist to join our clinical team. This role is designed for early-career professionals who are committed to developing their clinical expertise while delivering high-quality mental health services across diverse settings. The position offers a dynamic blend of direct therapy, community engagement, and professional development opportunities.


Compensation and Work Structure

  • Structured caseload of approximately 25 clients
  • Workload designed to support approximately 40 billable hours per week
  • Estimated annual earnings ranging from $73,000 to $77,000+
  • Clinical supervision provided in accordance with licensure requirements
  • Continuing Education Units (CEUs) provided
  • Eligible for National Health Service Corps (NHSC) loan repayment program

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual psychotherapy services to adult clients
  • Deliver community-based support services and case management
  • Conduct sessions in office, via telehealth, and within community settings
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Develop and facilitate 1–2 educational workshops annually
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives and events
  • Attend and actively contribute to monthly team meetings

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Pre-licensed status (e.g., LSW, LPC track, or equivalent)
  • Eligibility for full licensure in the state of Illinois
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment
  • Comfort and adaptability in community-based service delivery
