Job Summary
Atlanta GYN Center is an established Gynecology and Urogynecology practice rapidly expanding in Atlanta -is seeking a advance Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant who can start immediately. Job duties include performing clinical services for gynecology procedures. Such as history and physicals; patient education; rounding with physician; pre-procedure preparation of patients; and performing minor radiology procedures. Applicants must be proficient in performing basic needle procedures and must be versed in working with high risk patients in a hospital setting. Job requires travel between locations and may eventually require some after hours or weekend call. Basic knowledge and experience in Women's Health care is a must. Urogynecology/urology experience will be compensated but we are willing to train you. Compensation will be based upon your ability to learn and perform both areas.

Responsibilities and Duties
REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs independently without assistance;
- Ability to effectively communicate with physicians and patients in person, on the telephone or via email;
- Ability to perform and document vital signs;
- Computer skills in the use of word, excel and electronic medical records
- Ability and willingness to learn Urogynecology procedures.
- Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide excellent general health care services to patients
- Provide occupational medicine services to employees of our corporate clients.
- Order laboratory, x-ray, and other diagnostic tests as needed; analyze and incorporate evidence into an accurate diagnosis and implement proper courses of treatment.
- Facilitate referrals to specialist providers to ensure highest quality of care.
- Act as the patient advocate to ensure the patient receives timely, high quality health care.
- Prescribe or recommend drugs or other courses of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or other therapeutic procedures.
- Document patient care services by charting in the company's patient chart ’s/ EMR -Eclinical system
- Collaborate with designated physician.
- Maintain all professional licensure requirements.
- Ensure the confidentiality of our patient’s health records, department documents, and all other sensitive company and patient information.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with the other clinic employees, including nursing staff, front desk, practice management, and others.

- Must have the patience and tact to deal with the patient population and ability to work effectively in the primary care/urgent care environment. Scheduling flexibility is also required to be able to rotate hours and shifts, if needed, and to be called during emergency situations to provide coverage.
- There will be some weekend work.
- Will need to be able to travel to multiple locations.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be licensed to practice in Georgia; must possess and maintain current DEA number/CDS licensure (if applicable) and CPR certification.Required experience:

- Nursing: 1-2years prefer in Women's Health
- minor procedures: 1-2years
Required license or certification:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university;
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in an efficient and safe manner;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner;
- Comprehensive understanding of state, federal and hospital regulations regarding patient care, HIPAA, OSHA and any other regulated body;
- Certification in BLS;
- Valid Georgia nursing license
- Collaborate with designated physician.
- Maintain all professional licensure requirements.

- Maintain a positive working relationship with the other clinic employees, including nursing staff, front desk, practice management, and others.
