About the role

We are looking for candidates with 2-4 years of experience to join our team of Process Automation Engineers. As a team, we are working on the leading and highly complex projects in Kalundborg. Our goal is to implement robust and future-proof solutions for our customers.

Your role will be key in designing, implementing, and validating automation solutions for the pharmaceutical industries. At NNE, you’ll gain a solid understanding of the systems through a combination of theoretical learning and practical experience together with operators, engineers, project managers etc.

How you might spend your days
As an Automation Engineer, you’ll:
  • Design, develop, implement, qualify, and support Process Control Systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
  • Collaborate closely with process experts and specialists in related fields such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Historian systems, instrumentation, and production equipment to ensure seamless integration.
  • Optimize and develop automation strategies, applying state-of-the-art solutions to tackle customer challenges and sharing knowledge with colleagues and partners.
  • Gain experience by working alongside some of the best process automation engineers in a practical, learning-by-doing environment.

What you bring to the role
In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:
  • You have an Academy profession degree – Automation Engineering, Marine Engineering etc
  • You have a degree in chemistry, automation, electrical engineering, or marine engineering.
  • You have an interest of working with PCS/DCS Application development such as ABB 800xA, ABB SattLine or DeltaV
