Teahen Funeral Home and Van Steenhuyse Funeral Home are seeking a self-motivated sales professional to serve as a Advanced Funeral Pre-planning Specialist. Successful candidate will be responsible for leading, expanding and developing the “active” sales of preneed insurance. The purpose of this position is to educate and assist families through the process of planning and funding their funeral arrangements in advance. This is a full-time, commission-based position.
Required Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills
- Manage sales, marketing and strategies within the market that will lead to active sales growth and profitability.
- Ability to develop and cultivate relationships to advance the sales of the funeral home's planning products and services.
- Possess high level of professional integrity, compassion and a commitment to serving others.
- Successful experience in commissioned based sales.
- Proven experience in a service-driven industry and ability to self-generate leads.
- Good communication, influential and prospecting skills.
- Ability to resolve objections tactfully.
- Ability to provide compassion and sincerity in working with seniors.
- Good technical skills and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Work closely with owners and staff to achieve company sales goals, objectives and revenue.
Experience:
- Senior or funeral industry (Preferred)
Licenses:
- Life Insurance License (Not required upon hire)
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
