Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant

Central Florida Treatment Centers is seeking a contracted provider in our Ft Lauderdale Florida Opioid Treatment Program. This professional will be responsible for the clinical management of patients struggling with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD). Given the specific requirement for experience with the following MAT medications, your scope includes:

  • Buprenorphine-based products (Suboxone, Sublocade, Brixadi)
  • Methadone
  • Naltrexone (Vivitrol)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive inductions and maintenance for OUD/AUD.
  • Performing initial psychiatric and medical assessments.
  • Managing complex co-occurring mental health disorders (dual diagnosis).

To practice as a contracted MAT provider in Florida, you must meet the following legal and federal benchmarks:

1. Florida State Licensure

  • APRNs: Must hold an active, unencumbered Florida license.
  • PAs: Must be licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine.

2. DEA Registration & MATE Act

  • DEA License: A valid DEA registration with Schedule II-V authority is mandatory.
  • MATE Act Attestation: Under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, all providers must attest to completing 8 hours of training on the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $90.00 per hour
