Advanced Placement Latin Teacher (online tutoring 1 to 1)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to provide personalized academic support to students who are working on the AP Latin Course/Exam. Responsibilities

• Deliver customized tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs and learning styles
• Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and understanding complex concepts
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents where appropriate
• Develop educational materials and resources to enhance learning experiences
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special educational needs or disabilities
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism in all tutoring sessions

Requirements

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young learners
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining concepts clearly and effectively
• Experience working with children, including those with special educational needs, is highly desirable
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse student requirements
• Organized, reliable, and committed to supporting student success
• Relevant qualifications or background in education are advantageous but not essential
• A genuine passion for education and helping others achieve their potential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
