Advanced Practice Nurse (APN, PMHNP) - Group Private Practice

Village Counseling Services, Cape May Courthouse, NJ

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Nursing, with certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Current and valid NJ state licensure as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)
• Active CDS and DEA registration
• Ability to work under a pre-established joint protocol agreement with a licensed NJ physician
• Two years of clinical experience (preferred)

Village Counseling Services is a professional group of well-respected, seasoned licensed clinicians, who have been providing client-centered, evidence-based treatment since 1996. In our private, warm, supportive space we provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, medication management and two highly effective structured treatment programs - Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).

Job Requirements

We are seeking an APN to join our practice to provide medication evaluations and management, diagnosis, and treatment our extensive client base of children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Candidates must have a Master’s degree from an accredited advanced practice nursing program or higher, active NJ state APN license, national board certification, and prescriptive authority. Initially provide one clinical day per week, including evenings, with the goal of increasing availability over time. Conduct telehealth and in-person sessions.
