Advanced Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various medical procedures and treatments. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services, with a focus on patient assessment, diagnosis, and management across diverse clinical settings. OB/Gyn experience preferred. Would be prn for our Urgent Care. Weekdays and Weekend availability needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
• Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Stay current with advancements in medical technology and treatment protocols.

Skills
The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

• Athenahealth EMR/EHR systems
• Medical terminology knowledge including ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) and CPT coding
• Experience in outpatient settings, preferably in women's health
• Knowledge of health coaching principles and case management strategies
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and utilization review processes
