Advanced Practice Provider

Rapid-Med Urgent Care Center is currently seeking a Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. We have a dynamic, friendly work environment where patient care is of the highest priority. As an APP, you will spend most of your time treating patients by providing a variety of urgent care services.

Location: Argyle, TX and/or Double Oak, TX

Hours: Shifts will mirror the operating hours every day (10 or 12 hours). Rapid-Med is open M-F 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Schedules are based on seasonal volume of the clinics.

Responsibilities: Clinically evaluate and treat children and adults for allergies and rashes, chest pain, headaches and migraines, on-site x-rays, skin infections and abscesses, bronchitis and pneumonia, fevers, influenza, sore throat and strep, acute abdominal pain, gastrointestinal infections with nausea and vomiting, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, eye injuries, lacerations, foreign body removal, sprains, strains, and fracture care. Primary Care, Preventative Care, Travel Medicine, and On Demand services offering Virtual Visits.

Requirements:

• Active NP or PA license
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Ability and willingness to work four weekend shifts per month
• Ability and willingness to work rotating holidays when clinics are open

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68.00 - $76.00 per hour
